LOUISIANA!!!

We still haven't heard anything from Jonah, but Elder Osborne sent his family an email this morning and mentioned that Jonah was assigned to serve in Jennings, Louisiana!  I guess I will need to change the Texas flag we have flying to a Louisiana one! :) Jennings is about as far east as his mission boundaries go.  His apartment is in Welsh which is just outside of Jennings.  I looked up the city on Google Earth and it looks like such a fun area.  It appears to be a small farming community.  There are two tractor stores within a few blocks of Jonah's apartment.  When I was looking at the photos on the internet I could just see Jonah walking the streets there!  I heard that there is a Branch in that area and that the members are amazing!  One of the missionary moms said the Jennings missionaries are getting rides into Texas every other day with the members to help with the clean-up efforts.  The Jennings area didn't get much damage from Hurricane Harvey, mostly flooding.  We are SO excited for him and can't wait to hear from him--hopefully on Monday!  Fingers crossed!!
